Privacy Policy — rclone-backup

This policy covers the OAuth client "rclone-backup" and the data it can access.

Data accessed

Through the Google Drive API (drive scope), this client can read, write, and organize files inside the owner's own Google Drive — specifically the folders used to store server backups.

Data collection & sharing

• No data is collected by, sold to, or shared with any third party.
• No analytics, tracking, or logging service receives Drive contents or metadata.
• Tokens and any cached file listings live only on infrastructure the owner controls.

Retention

Backup files remain in Drive until the owner deletes them. OAuth tokens persist until revoked.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke this client's access at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party access.
